These are the rats I have available right now. These are rescues, which means NO BREEDING. Thre'll be an adoption paper to sign and a small adoption fee.

Romeo He's approximately 4 mos old agouti boy. He's the sweetest thing ever, very spunky too. He loves attention and would crawl onto your lap for long scritching sessions (as long as you know what you're doing!) and would love to be adopted by an expert scritcher please Smiley

Snow He's about 8 mos old, a petite PEW boy. He's a little shy, not too keen on being picked up, but still enoys ocassional snuggling with me. He needs a good friend who won't beat him up and would allow him to dominate him and pretend like he's the toughest rat in the world Smiley

Sabrina She's an age-unknown black hooded rexy girl. She's had a rough life but is an amazingly friendly despite it. She's still not sure about getting picked up but she enjoys attention and love to nibble on my finger.

I'll post pictures soon. If you have any questions about any of these guys please email me at Babyblue033@hotmail.com

I can't travel very far right now, and I won't be down in Long Island until end of May. I can go as far as Buffalo and Syracuse, and any surrounding Rochester area. Thank you! Smiley

*whines* Oh why, oh why is Rochester so far away from Sault Ste Marie?

*has an overly healthy obsession with PEWs*

Babyblue,

Actually, I live in Erie, Pa.

Donna from Rat-topia in Alden is meeting me on Wednesday to give me my two blue rex dumbo girls Hyper (I'm dying to get them.)

You know Donna, don't you?

Babyblue does a great job with her ratties.  I know, I've met them and brought home the sweet and adorable Eve.  Eve clicked right away with my cage of younger girls and comes running to the door to come out with the rest of them.  And she's very licky.   Cheesy  Eveyone of Bb's rats came over to me and let me cuddle and kiss them and pretty much maul them.  Soooo sweet.

Aww thanks Mary. But you obviously missed that one crazy rat who was going beserk and wanted to jump straight out of my arms. Wait, you took her home! Yellow Cute Laugh

I'm so glad she's doing good with you, she really just needed the stability, and apparently a new mom Grin And I told you she was licky (altho she did NOT show it on Sat).

Pigsandrats, yeah I know Donna (well I know OF her). Blue rex dumbo sounds absolutely ADORABLE! So do you think you'll have room for one more, a very sad looking black hooded rex perhaps? Cheeky I will be driving right through Erie this Friday... *gives pigsandrats a FIRM nudge*

Babyblue... that crossed my mind already.
The thing is-- where would I keep her? The cage I just bought for the girls I'm getting tomorrow is only supposed to have two rats. Plus, would she need to be quarantined?
I wouldn't know where to put her (for quarantine), even if I had a cage.
Any ideas?

Another question: Is she with any other rats right now, or does she need to be alone?

I have been thinking about this...... and it's gut-wrenching. Something about that little face of hers just pulls at my heart. (sigh)

Actually she just got out of her quarantine and came home yesterday. She looked dirty and sickly when I got her but I think it was just the stress and bad diet, as 3 weeks of calm environment (altho not much socialization since my friend only keeps the rats for me, not handle them much Tongue) and good diet she's looking so much better. I don't blame you for falling for this one, she has that permanent sad look about her that gets me too, and she reminds me of an old lady who has been through everything.

She's now living by herself still but she did meet the gang last night and everything went ok. I don't think she'll have a hard time living with others.

What cage are you getting?

It's a Martin's 670? I can't remember the exact number. It's about 24x16x14 or something to that extent.

I know Kim, I was thinking the same thing...... a total bummer.  Sad I don't know anyone who could be my 'quarentiner' for three weeks. They DO have to be in seperate houses, right?

Yep they have to be in separate houses. I wish I could've somehow just brought her straight over from her quarantine, before she met my rats Tongue Hmm...
