breeders who are going to the RMFE show soon, any of you have available rats?

I have a past adopter who just lost her female, and is ISO another one to keep her neutered male (from me) company. She is searching for a rescue but cannot find one, and I am putting out feelers for what breeders will be there and whta they will have available! She is a wonderful home (rats go everywhere - she has flown them to be with her, drove them from CT to WI), and is just a lovely rat mom!!

Please, let me know!

Ack.. all my females, even the rescues, are reserved!  I have males available.. and one older female that I would consider letting go, she's an Agouti Dumbo, and just over a year, but in great health.

Other than that, I am pretty sure there are other breeders attending that will have female rescues available.  Smiley

thanks dayna -- they dont have to be rescues, she will consider the right female that was purposefully bred as well if she needs to - but i would imagine she would PREFER a rescue if at all possible!

I still have 2 standard ear RB females carrying RED and dumbo from Breezy's litter born on 2/14/03.

For anyone else interested I also have: 4 standard ear males from that litter and 3 PEW dumbo males born on 10/23/02.

*lower lip trembles*..

dumbo PEW male.. if he were a teddy rex, I'm afraid I would have to come and steal him before anyone else could.

Don't tell me he cuddles too.

It won't let me look at some of the pictures of your current litters. And I just have to say, I almost died when I saw that little black hooded blazed rex rescue boy (wow that's a mouthful). I want him soooo bad *whimpers*

who's the cutest little girl in the world? ME!!

« Reply #14 on: May 13, 2003, 03:31:37 AM »

I may have an older platinum girl still available, I have a lead on placing her somewhat locally, but if that doesn't pan out I can bring her to Chicago (but not to the show, I'll be staying about 3 miles from the show site so it shouldn't be a problem to arrange a pick up there)

She's very sweet, just too small for me to breed, and there were also some problems with her littermate's litters, which would make me think twice anyways (I did breed her sister, who didn't have the same size problem, just days before finding out about the littermates, she was placed with a friend to have that litter and had no problems).  She's a nice healthy little girl though, about 8 months old now.  I've been picky about where she might go though, so it's possible I may just end up keeping her Wink
