I've been fostering a pair of Menlo Park girls for over a month now.  They were thought to be pregnant, but it turns out they weren't.  They're roughly 3-4 months old now.  One is an agouti hooded, the other is an agouti berkshire.

EDIT-- Oops, I posted this before I was finished.   Tongue  The pics weren't working, sorry about that.

I'm in Marin County, and we could probably drive around an hour to meet someone.

Someone my mom works with has already mentioned that she's interested in them, but I don't know if that will work out.  I know this is a long shot with Shawna's babies and all the other MP rescues.  Thanks.

*bump*

I would really, really like to adopt these girls out.  I have my hands full over here with the fosters of various species; not to mention my own animals.  The truth is, I simply don't have the time to give these girls all the attention they deserve.  I would love to see them go to a good home.

Hi. I'm very interested. I live in Berkeley (but I go to school in Marin) and I'm looking for two girls right this moment of that exact age. Plus my name is Caitlin!  Shocked

I've never seen an agouti before. What do they look like? What are the girls' personalities like?

Talk to you soon.  Cookie Blue Dumbo Smile

Here's a pic of an agout rat (not mine, it came up in a google image search):

The hooded girl is outgoing and friendly.  The berk is a little shyer, but still sweet.  Thank you SO much for your interest.

OK, so the would-be adopter disappeared, so I'm putting these girls back up for adoption.
