I'm a llama!

« on: May 18, 2003, 07:07:52 PM »

Hello.  We have a VERY sweet girlie looking for a new home.  She is a 4 month old, agouti colored, rex-coated female who loves children and shoulder rides.  She was purchased from a pet shop 3 months ago as a male.  Well, turns out she is not a male Sad  .  She has been housed with my neutered male.  But since I cannot put her in with my other males I have had to keep 2 cages.  I am afraid that I cannot keep both cages up for lack of time.  My children love to play with the rats, but are not a huge help with their care.  She is very kissy and sociable.  Please e-mail if you would like a picture of her.  We live in Plainfield, CT.

Rat Crazy,
Is your little girlie looking to be rehomed with her cage or on her own?  I'm in NE CT also and might be able to take her for you.  You can email me at ratgrl@earthlink.net and we can talk.  I'd like to try and help you out.

I'm sorry LifeInCircuit.   Sad  I did answer your email, but I guess I did it wrong and the response went directly to Suebee.  This was my first post and I don't understand how to respond to private emails.  I guess I should have just answered you on the board, but I did not want to waste the space and tried to email you personally.  Thank you for your original response.  But since RatQueen only lives 20 minutes from me and you are almost 2 hours away, I agreed to let her adopt my girl. Thank you again for your wonderful offer to adopt her!

I sure like to think I'm a good one  Grin
And LifeInCircuit, I don't think it was really necessary to be nasty in your response to my adoption of the little girl.  We all know how many rats in need there are out there.. it just happened to be serendipity that I'm so near to RatCrazy.

yes, indeed, but I would have driven out either way, so it really would not have made any difference. I felt you were rude, personally. but oh well. end of discussion.
