My baby plays hide-and-go-seek!

« on: April 28, 2002, 02:21:26 AM »

I am such a pushover.  I have given Ennoia the 695.  It came in the mail today, and I realized that I could fit a *lot* more toys if I put her in the bigger cage.  So, I put her in there with the new wheel and several new toys (including a new roll of toilet paper).

I'm sure she'll love it when she gets used to it.  Right now, she keeps wandering around as though she cannot figure out what to do with ALL THIS SPACE!

I just got my Martin's 695 today.  I had a lot of trouble putting it together because the instructions were not entirely clear.  Apparently, I put the two side panels on the wrong sides of the back panel.  This had two negative results:
1.  The ramp from the bottom would not line up with the hole in the upper level.
2.  I was unable to secure one of the the middle platforms unless I attach it to the door (sealing the door closed).

When I finally did get it figured out, I loved it!  It's HUGE.  I highly recommend it.  Please note that the size of the pan is a few inches larger than the cage itself, so be careful when planning out floorspace.

P.S.  I *highly* recommend the Cage Repair Kit.  For $3, it made the job of putting it together a lot easier.
