Yes. She is gone. I knew it when I got up this morning she wasn't going to last the day. At least she isn't suffering.
SShe was eating banana chips last night, she was happy. We held her this morning and gave her her last scritches.

I also just found out that I have been using the wrong terminology here, she never had myco, she had MC (megacolon). I thought that myco was a short term for megacolon. My bad.

Amy, I'm sorry your little thing passed... you did the best you could for her, and certainly it wasn't your fault that she had megacolon. It's an unfortunate and sad birth defect.
I'll take one or two girls to keep, but I don't really have space for all of them. Babyblue, did you say you could foster until homes were found?
As to transport, if my lady in Buffalo can't help out then I'll come up probably ON the fourth, likely stay over somewhere in the area, and then drive back on Saturday morning... The conference I work for starts on that Sunday, and I'm not sure if I'll have to work at least part of Saturday. If it winds up I don't have to, I might be able to stick around for a bit. I'm also not sure if I'll be in my husband's company
Trying to convince him to roadtrip with me, but while he likes the rats he's not quite as, er... committed, as I am.
Also, Babyblue, we may be able to swing a deal with a guy who's just come to the boards, I think his screenname is dweintraub. He live sin Greenwich and is willing to transport 2 hours either direction, so he might be able to do the point man thing for us. This way you might not have to venture out of NY - you might be able to meet him without coming around that panhandle.
Amy, again.. I'm sorry about your little megacolon girl.

BTW, thank you for the adopters who've offered to help with transport costs... the tolls wind up being about $40 (remembering from driving to see my own family) and it'll take 2-3 tanks of gas. I appreciate you offers very much, even though I'd do it anyway for the little weiners

I'm so sorry about the MC girl too. At least she's no longer suffering, that poor little thing. I was hoping to adopt this poor girl myself, but guess it wasn't meant to be.
So who's left? The mom and the 2 girls? I could definite foster the girls if needed. No problem.
RQ, let me know how it works out with this guy. I have 2 transports coming from that general direction (one from Albany and one from CT), but of course they're all next week and before July 7th. Only if things were that easy

rq, Ive only got he 2 girls left, my MC baby was one of the 2 baby girls, now there's just mom and baby girl. My daughter had all of them out running around her bedroom for excersise and human interaction. The baby boys are already clingy. The daddy is Super clingy, just wants to be on my neck. I think all of them have homes, no fostering needed. Thank you all so much for your sympathy. I also hope you will all stay in touch and let me know how they progress.
Thanks so much Again

Yep! We're gonna take the one little boy. We can't wait to see him! We're planning everything out now to arrange it all, it should work just fine.
Don't forget to e-mail us your work number so we can contact you the day we pick him up.
And you can call me Nancy instead of "the couple."

I thought there were more girls than that. Weren't there 2 more, or have they found a home? Sorry if I missed something somewhere
Yes I'll take the mother and the daughter, Sugarplum's taking the father. So this is happening on the first week of July? I just want to make sure so I have my quarantine plan set up early.
Sugarplum, so the father will be quarantined at my bf's right? While you're in Italy?

Yep that would be great, I think by the time he comes down I'll be gone myself. I thought they don't have to be quarantined, but whatever you see fit is great with me.
And yes Daddy is for me Amy..my clingy little sweet heart I cannot wait to see him!

Ok..from what I know this is the list, Amy:
SugarPlum..........Daddy
Drusilla............... 3 boys
Ratqueen........... 1 girl and mom
Nancy..........1 boy
BabyBlue033...... (Is not taking any, cause she was only going to foster, not be a forever home. I am pretty sure I am right on this, as I talked to RQ and BB recently. If I am right this would be a list so that everyone has a forever home.)
I hope this helps straightens everything out
.
Is my list ok with everyone?

Yep, that list is correct as far as I know, and I will indeed be the one coming up your way to pick 'em up Amy. It looks like what I'll probably do is come up July 4 and come back July 5, stay over in Buffalo or Niagara Falls (my husband doesn't seem to want to come along, and it's too much driving for me for one day - 6 hours or so each way). Then we still have to work out the NYC leg of it, as I know I'm still a little fuzzy on how the rest of the kids are getting there. Does all this sound ok Amy?

LOL it seems I'm getting a bit confused here as well. So RQ you'll be taking the mother and her daughter then? If there is a girl available, I was gonna hold her for someone, but does this mean everyone's already spoken for?
Amy, PM me if you have any questions on Tammie.

My original intent was to only take one nudist... so if you have somebody who is gung-ho and you know is trustworthy, I could take just one of the girls and let the other go to your adopter. I thought you were going to foster and then try to find homes, so rather than have you do that I am willing and able to take both if need be, but I'd just as soon take one. LOL.. it's like that cup game, you know? With three cups, which one is the ball under? We keep guessing wrong... we'd stink in Vegas
Let me know, babyblue, if you do have someone super interested in a nudist, and then I will only take one rather than both of the girls.

I somehow thought you were taking a boy or two, so I got all mixed up here lol. Well I thought I was fostering, then I thought I wasn't, then thought I was (I just couldn't keep track of everything for some reason), but I think Kim might want a nekked girl at the end of the summer, and we all know you can NOT get a better home than with Kim!!! And for some reason it doesn't work out with Kim, I wouldn't mind a nekked baby here either

LOL BabyBlue. Nekked babies certainly are cute. They're eating fish and broccoli right now. Are you going to be picking up the critters from Ratqueen? I just didn't want anybody to get "stuck" with them for any too long...Ya know what I mean? Let me know
Thanks

Well this is the plan. Either we find someone to pick up the rats from RQ then bring them to me, or I'll pick up the rats myself from RQ. Sugarplum will be in Italy, and besides I'm quarantining the rats for her anyways, so the father and whatever rats I'll get will go to my bf's house for 3 weeks. I'll probably meet up with Druscilla to bring her babies to her. Does that sound about right everyone?

Serena, why don't we plan then for me to take one and you to take one of the nekkid girls? This way if Kim does want a nudist she has one, and if no, then you do
That's completely fine with me. As I said, I offered to take both partly in order to keep your foster numbers down, as I know you have your own little people that you're trying to find forever homes for. Partly because I"m intrigued by th idea of nudists. But I have some young furred girls who would very much like the company of a nudist (I hope) and I know I'm very excited by the prospect. Hubby and I are already debating names. He wants to name her Toupee
He's gonna lose. At any rate, how's that plan for you?
