I'm a llama!

Some of you may remember the Humane Society ratties that I took in who were sick and needed homes.  After a second round of Baytril all of them are doing well.  There are five left and four of them will most likely go up for general adoption next weekend, Aug 7 and 8.

However, one of the little guys a brown/black Dumbo male we have been calling Ben, needs some very special attention.  He has never bitten me or my husband but he cowers in the corner when you open the cage and "freezes" if you come near him.  After working with him for 2 weeks I have finally gotten him to take a treat out of my hand, before he just froze and looked away.  He is so sweet.

I would prefer to find him a home before he goes up for general adoption.  That way I know he will have the socialization that he needs.  The other four are all very social and will do fine.
