Which brand of shampoo do you use? How is it and what's the price?

I don't bathe my ratties very often cause they're clean most of the time, but I want to make sure that they use a good shampoo.  This might be helpful for those who have the same question as I do, so please do share....

I use baby shampoo or just water.There getting one today.I'm sure there not gonna like me the rest of the day. They haven't had one in awhile so here it comes.There getting head to toe cage cleaning as well.Man they hate it when I clean the cage walls and everything there gonna be so mad.I better make sure they get a   then they'll   me again

I use johnson's baby shampoo. They don't get baths often, it's just too stressful for me... i mean, them Sometimes I just use the baby wipes and wipe them off, especially their tails which gets real nasty sometimes.

I have Natures Miracle pet whipes, which can be used everywhere, the ears, face, gentile area, and everything else. It also works well to get rid of dander!

When they need baths I'm currently using Johnsons tear free head to toe baby soap, the kind I have right now has a little lotion in it (that new one which is out) cause it's what I use on my daughter.
I think the stuff smells how the candy Swedish Fish tastes

I tried to bathe my rats....ONCE... I was very unsuccessful, and I think I got more wet than my rat did.

If they really need a bath I use the cat wipes (they are like baby wipes). They still don't like it, but it's a little less stressful than the bath.

The only thing I actually clean would be thier tails, because they have a bad habit of NOT cleaning them.  For that I get a cup of warm water and add a drop of dish soap.  Then I get an old toothbrush- my husband holds the rats (and complains while doing so) while I brush away at thier tail.

In the end I'll have angry rats, and a grumpy husband...... but their tails are clean!!!

I use EarthBath soapless pet shampoo. It comes in many formulas; I use the oatmeal and aloe because I have itchy boy rats. It's very natural, with only a few ingredients, and much cheaper than similar products the vet sells. I hardly ever wash my rats, though; except for Moe, they are all very young and sweet-smelling.

On the rare occasion that they need bathing, I use baby shampoo.  I do give their tails a washing every week though!

The baby shampoo works well for the staining Chloe gets on her coat from time to time, and it's very inexpensive, around $3/bottle.

I use gerber baby wash in oatmeal, it's great for the itchy skin.
