This is one sad story -- please contact KimsArkAdopt@yahoo.com if you can help out.

These rats are in need of a new home because their owner is moving across the country and at their advanced age, they feel they cannot make the trip.

From the owner:
Kim,
Dusty is a black and white hooded rat.  She is about 2 years old now with the most docile temperment.  She will take food right out of your hands and hold your hand while she does it!!! Powder is about 2 1/2 almost 3 years old.  She is an albino with red eyes.  She too has an amazing temperment.  She loves her treats and will take them right from your hand as well.  Both Dusty and Powder live together.  They have a wooden house that they sleep in as well as a tube that they shred and use with their bedding for their nests.  Their cage will be included with them as well as their food and bedding (Carefresh Bedding I believe is the name of it).
Max is also about 2 years old as well.  He is an albino with brown spots on his nose and tail.  (Kim inserts - siamese or himilayan) He loves to explore new things.  He is not as social as Powder and Dusty are.   He lives in the same tank with his son Earl (Dusty is Earl's Mom).  Earl is a grey and white hooded rat with blue tinted eyes.  He is about 1 1/2 years old.  He too loves to explore but is not as social as Powder and Dusty.  I am not sure where you would be looking for homes for them, but we would be willing to drive wherever as long as we know our babies are going to have good homes.  Everything that we have for them will be included with them so as to provide them some continuity.

These rats need new homes by the end of July -- if you can help out, PLEASE let us know! KimsArkAdopt@yahoo.com

I would gladly take them if they could make it to NC. But isn't that alittle far for the rats to travel.

Their descriptions sound like my older rats, Katie and Molly that I just adopted.  Undecided   I'd even take them in if they could get to Wisconsin!

Any questions about these rats should still be directed to the ark - the foster care parent is just CARING for the rats - the ark is in charge of finding them homes. So do not contact the foster parent, still contact us Smiley

We received several applications for fostering these rats and chose one.
The lady has decided to adopt the 2 boys so the girls are the only ones looking for permanent homes.

They are *in* a foster home already.  They need forever homes now, not another foster.    Wink

Raspberry:  if you want them that bad, why don't you go ahead and ADOPT them instead of just fostering them.   Find out what you need to do for the adoption.
