To some of you Mangold Wurzel may sound...strange. But I'm sure it's a type of cattle feed like sugar beet. I just wanted to know if it would be safe to feed to my girls. I found this:

  1. beet with a large yellowish root; grown chiefly as cattle feed

2.A mangold wurtzel (usually spelt wurzel, these days),
for those who don't know, is a large variety of beet, used as cattle
fodder.

On Google. I know If I'm Not Sure, Leave It Out. But, my dad says they should eat it and I think they'd appreciate it. Undecided

It's just a variety of beet.
As long as it isn't the only thing you feed them it will be fine. You can eat it too. Yellow Cute Laugh
