Hi everyone  Smiley

Just wanted to share the new bed my Momma got for me and my brothers.  She got it from a store called Dollar General, but she said you can get them at Dollar Tree, Deals, the 99 cents store or any of those places.  She uses a big book binding ring to hold the bed to the wires of my home.  Hope all you other ratties get comfy beds like mine.

Very very cute little ratty...

Archimedes is anything but little.  He weighs almost 2 pounds.  Very squishy.

Understandable.  When he's all curled up he looks normal, but when he stretches out you can see all the squishiness on his sides Smiley

Grace & Lenore

« Reply #9 on: December 23, 2005, 07:25:26 PM »

WOW!  2 lbs?  I can't even imagine that - it's more than both Grace and Lenore put together!  And I thought Lenore was a squish at about 2/3 lb.

Those hats (?) look like comfy rattie beds.  Mmm... I might have to get a few for the girls next time I'm out!  Thanks for the heads-up.  Cheesy

(Side note: for extra comfy rats, I bet you could microwave 'em for about 15 seconds so that they're warm to the touch.)

They are kids knitted caps.  I never thought about warming them before putting them in there.  I figure at a dollar each it doesn't matter that the boys mutilate them within a week.

If you have hairless rats, you don't need to microwave them..............just pick 'em up and POOF instant hand warmers!

Not for me - I'm like Rogue in X-Men. I suck the cold right out of hairless animals. They really don't like me. :>(
