Cloud being a fuzzball.

A nice profile of Connie.  She kept scratching at that eye for some reason, and I was worried she might really hurt herself.  The only thing that came of it was that the eye's smaller now.  Hope that isn't a problem.

Rat train!

Connie digging around the cage where I have to feed Cloud.  She finds Ensure-flavored shavings and eats them!  It's kind of gross, but I can't stop her.

The essence of Cloud:  "MOMMMEEEE!"  I love this picture.  She's done amazingly well for having almost died.

She healed up really well in the end.  I don't know what the little remaining hole is, but it doesn't seem to be a problem.

I'm new, so please pardon my ignorance, but what happened to Cloud's eye? Looks like it is healing really well.  Cute pictures. Smiley

I'm still not sure!  I could have sworn she had SDA before, because her symptoms matched those on the SDA factsheet that I found.  But, I guess she probably just had some kind of infection that she couldn't shake.  Anyway, her eye both bugged out of her head and looked inflamed, then she scratched it open.  Undecided  It looked terrible after that, and it looked like it felt terrible, so I asked the vet to remove it.

Anyway, after she recovered from that her infection came back, made her other eye bug, and she almost died!  I was really close to taking her to be pts, but as I was about to walk out the door she stood up for the first time in over a week in the box she was in, and she fought really hard to get back to where she is now.
