I got the fish (for ferrets) and the octo-play at Petsmart today...good price.

12 dollars for the octo-play, everywhere I see it is 25+ and then I got the fish for only 9. Oh and I got the "look out shelf" for only 3 dollars, reg 13.

Good deals. I snagged two fish since my ratties LOVE it.

just thought I'd share Smiley

also we are reduce to clear all living things cages that are already built. They now come in boxes, broken down and in some cases the price went down. The large red 30 X 18 X 30 cage is down to 75. I have two cages on hold for temps and there are still a ton left.

I've never seen the fish or the octopus at the petsmart near me... hmmm, I'll go by today to see if they have them.  I'll have my friend check the one by her house, too.

thanks for the heads up! I got an octoplay and a fish today.

Does anyone keep the fish in the cage? I'm wondering if it will get chewed up right away, but it seems like a fun in-cage today (I'm not sure the octo-play would fit very well with the current set up).

I keep the fish in the cage, they like to play hide and seek with it. They don't chew it up though, I think they like it too much lol

Well that's just crappy. I went to two petsmarts today and neither one of them had the octopus or the fish on sale. Maybe the sale doesn't apply in CA? I'm so sad....  Cry

I went to my Petsmart this evening and I got the last three fish for $9 each, also three 32 ounce water bottles on sale for $2 each and they had the flying saucer wheel for $25 so I bought the last one. I will post pictures of that later when I get it set up and figure out who gets to try it out first! I spent more money than I had planned to, but that's ok. There Octoplay was still $25 so I didn't buy one. They also has the SP Exotics cage on sale for $59, but they were all sold out.

I stopped by petsmart today and they had one fish for 9 dollars, but the octoplay thingy was regular price. I considered getting the fish, but its hand wash only, so i passed. looked at the rest of their ferret stuff, and it appears that its all either dry clean or hand wash in cold only...i would prefer something i could throw in the wash.

yeah, I went to petsmart in BC the other day, but their clearance wasn't all that great. Which was disapointing, because there were some things I really wanted, but I'm just not willing to spend that kind of money at the moment

It may say that, but it's not true. The fishy has been a favorite of my guinea pigs for a long time. They love to sleep in it, and also... go to the bathroom like crazy in it. Roll Eyes But on wash day, I turn the fishy inside-out, and just throw it in the wash with everything else. It has been through countless washes and is still in great shape. Just a lil' FYI for anyone who doesn't know.

my fiance's mom bought it for us the other day. it was $12, but a complete waste! within hours of getting it, one of my rats started chewing on it. i'm not going to buy that alligator one or the elephant one they have on ferretdepot.com it'll just be another waste of money.

They will chew it but they still use it.  My fish is getting chewed and my octoplay but still is usable.
