I've been reading the forums for awhile now, I even adopted some boys last weekend from starrynite1025!
I wanted to say hi and introduce myself and my ratties. Due to the boys being so new and still settling in, I'm only showing the girlies tonight. I tried to take many, many pictures of them during play time, but I'm sure everyone knows how hyper our rats can be.
My girls are all 3 months old. They are all rescued rats.
My first ones are Lyon and Sialeeds. They were an accidental litter from a rescue rat. My husband and I decided on taking two little girls when they were 5 or 4 weeks old. Sialeeds is the fawn hooded and Lyon is the black capped girl. I fell in love with Sialeeds when I first held her, but once we had them home he completely melted for Lyon. He tries not to spoil her more that the other girls!

Our third girlie we've only had for two weeks, but she's an absolute angel. I believe she's a double rex due to her coat and very crazy whiskers.

She is very shy, but the cuddliest rat I've ever seen. She likes to lift your hand and nuzzle her head under your palm. When we first got her I thought she might have been sick, she was very lethargic. She's been more active lately, but she's a lot slower than my other girls and a complete fraidy cat. She'll put her butt flat to the floor with her legs spread wide when she gets scared. She nested like crazy when she first came home too, but stopped after a few days. I plan to take her to the vet to get her checked up anyway, just to be safe.

Here's Elphie (my husband named her that because her wrinkles remind him of an elephant. He says she's very wise too) again, she's posing with a piece of my hair wrapped around her!

Mommy caught her grooming!

Lyon is our bounciest little girl, she likes to look at the wide world from her safe futon.

Lyon decided I wasn't any good at trying to take pictures, so she was going to give me lessons!

They just wouldn't let me get a real mugshot...

This is Sialeeds "artsy" picture, but really, the little rat feet diving off my shoulder crack me up.

Lyon expressing what she really thinks about my picture taking...

Sialeeds again, this would have been a wonderful picture if it weren't so fuzzy! Ah well, I'll just have to keep trying! I do have some nice pictures of them as little babies too. I'll take some pictures of the boys once they're more settled in, they are being quite a handful!
Thank you for looking at my little angels, I hope you girls and guys enjoy them as much as I do!
