I am going to be getting two hairless dumbo girls when they are weaned but I saw that there were 2 boys at the store from a different litter. I had to hood one. I did they were so soft, so sweet, so cute! I am so excited!!!!!! they made my patience fade, I want them now!!!

I think I am going to name them peaches and Wrinkles! lol I have though about it for quite some time and those are the winners, unless they NEED anoother name. YAY

Are you getting 2 nekked girls and 2 nekked boys?  I love nekked ratties.  I have one of each but......they do better living with furry rats for warmth.  Also, most of the time female hairless rats don't lactate so make sure if you are getting 2 of both sexes  that you keep them far apart.  If the mom can't feed the babys she usually will eat them.  Alas, all part of nature.
Anyway, aside from the obvious.  I love my dumbo nekked girl Wendy and my top eared nekked boy Hairy.  They are loving and sweet pets.

*sigh*  Are you really stuck on those names?  Chicken Leg would be a great name for one of them, you know.

Sadly, Shawna already HAS a hairless, and no, it's not named Chicken Leg.

BTW, I held my first hairless yesterday, and I'm getting them (from Rattie Ratz) and NO, I don't want to name one of them Chicken Leg

Yup.  Anna's right; no Chicken Legs here.  That would be the Freakyberry.

Don't you love how soft and rubbery they are?  I love to hold Frankenberry, but she HATES to be held!  It's really hard to put temporary tattoos on her, too.  She just will NOT sit still for it!  LOL

Kellz: I think we've already got a couple of Nairs on the forum, don't we?

I just picked up my 2 new Hairless neutered boys and I think they feel sticky. It's funky :afro: how they feel. Oh and warm to.

Don't freat Shawna....I'm naming one Chicken Leg..probably the smaller of the 2. The other will be Scroat. If you have to ask I can't tell you Grin.

I'm beat so once I'm back from vacation on the 20th I'll post pics.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAOPIMP~  Scroat!  That's GREAT!~

They do feel kinda sticky.  Someone on this forum knows someone who had a hairless named Sticky Bunny.  I loved that name.

Thank you for choosing Chicken Leg.  We didn't use it, but only because it didn't win the coin toss, and I felt it was better suited for a male.  You can't very well name a male hairless Frankenberry.  Well, you CAN since the cereal mascot was male, but it seems to fit females better.

I've never held a male hairless, by my girl Dixie was like warm suede.  She was so nice feeling, like a living hotwater bottle, but with nails...

I've never tried an actual temporary tattoo.  Sometimes, though, when I've got a non-toxic, washable marker handy, I will try to draw a little heart or something on her rump.

This has only been done once successfully, and I guess she didn't like it because the next day it was gone.  LOL

See, she's kind of like the big, bald prison yard bully.  What's a prison yard bully without a tattoo, right?
