I used to be able to list multiple shops together by putting commas between the shop names, but that doesn't seem to work anymore. Ugh. We have multiple shops because the free shops only allow one of each item in it (premium shops cost about $6.00 a month, which wouldn't be worth it for the income the shop brings in... we need all of it to go to supporting the site).

If we had more sales, I'd upgrade us to premium... *hint*  :cheeky:

I was thinking of doing a "notecard of the month" with the others, but I think, instead, once I get the new store set up, I'll have ALL the winning images available as packs of 10 notecards, since I will be able to add unlimited items. ;D I'm just waiting on permission from a few of the winners. Future contest rules will also include permission to use the images on other products in the store. ;D

Yet another update... I've been busy busy!  :hyper:

I've added a crap-ton of notecards, magnets and mini buttons, so be sure to check it out.

I'll also be adding some ornaments (holiday and otherwise), tile boxes, and bumper stickers this week.

It's official, we sold our first calendar today! Woo!

I'm just waiting for pay day to be able to buy mine....So excited!  :hyper: It's soooo cute! I may get a couple for friends and family too...

And I'm really excited for the note cards too! And not just the ones of my handsome boy, Pelon.  :cheeky:

I think it would be better if the rats from november and december were switched. It would have matched more!

Oh my gosh Suebee!  This is so incredibly amazing!!!  Thank you so much for all the work you put into this.  I know how hard it has to be... I couldn't believe you put the calendar together every year, this is just too fantastic.  My new job starts Tuesday... I think I know where my paycheck will be going  ;)   Again, unbelievable job!  Thank you!

Suebee, will you have cards made from previous years' calendars? And some of the runners-up from last year were great pictures, too, as I remember. The possibilities are endless!

I did my part - placed my order today.

Yes, I am. I have gone through all four past calendars, and made notes (well, ok, not 2007 yet, as it's on my wall at the moment haha). I also plan on going through everything that's been submitted for all five calendars (wow, we've done this five years now?!?!), particularly looking for holiday images. I need to contact each submitter and ask permission to use the images, though, to be fair. Some of them might not be around anymore...

Next year, I am including "permission to use submitted images on any other merchandise to raise money for the forum" in the rules, so I don't have to hunt people down. LOL!

The possibilities truly are endless... I've been waking up at 3:30 am with ideas some nights, and have to get up to write them down so I don't forget. LOL!

Sue, do they have long sleeved infant onesies on Cafepress?

Here you can see the full range of what they offer. I don't recall seeing anything like you're asking for... do you mean a zip-up hoodie sweatshirt? I know they don't do sweaters... that would be too hard to print on! LOL!

BTW, I didn't put the various designs on every apparel item available... some of them I just didn't find attractive (yellow tee, women's cap-sleeve tee, men's sleeveless tee*, for example) and I didn't know if maternity wear was something people were interested in.

*the men's sleeveless tee looks like something you'd see on COPS. All it needs is "Bikini Inspector" or "My Wife Left Me For My Dog" printed across it. ::)

Wow...I'd never actually taken the time to look at all the items at the shop until just now....And I'm having a major case of GGMRRS! ((Gotta Get More Rats Rule Stuff))  :yelcutelaugh: Too bad I have to spend my paycheck on rent today.  :'( Because without a house...I don't have anywhere to put all the great rat themed goodies!

Yes, a zip up hooded sheatshirt,  know there's two on them, but is there one that you could put the design on the back or all the way across the front?

I"ll definitely will be ordering a calendar! I usually buy pitbulls calendar, but now that Chico has passed away it's kind of hard to look at those calendars and I think it's time for a new theme...RATS!!

I was also looking at apparel stuff....why is everything white??? I'd totally buy a shirt or something if it came in black.

Sue, as you're thinking of card themes - can I make a suggestion? I always seem to need a sympathy card for friends who've lost their ratties. Something appropo... Thanks  :wink5:

Actually, I do have something in the works... I just need to FIND it on my hard drive! LOL!


They do offer dark/black apparel, but it requires a different design process, which means I would have to convert all the designs to work on black. It's going to take me some time. Hang in there! :) The hardest part is that most of the illustrations are scans, not vector-art, so I don't know what they're going to look like when I convert them... not sure I can even do it. *sigh*

Edit again: The illustrations are not happening. I spent the last two hours cleaning just TWO of them up (dumbo and hairless), and they're not uploading correctly (read: blank).  :doh: I'm not putting any more work into it -- my wrist is killing me.

Sales will probably jump once Christmas is closer. I know I'm going to order one with Christmas money! Alone with other Rats Rule merchandise. Everyone will be green with envy when I wear a Rats Rule! shirt and see and Rats Rule! magnet in my locker.

Yeah because it's still not around 08 yet, well for me it's not. I'd expect it in the last month of 07 actually. Hopefully my rat Belle will get into the other calander contest.  :eek:

I want to get a shirt or something. I said something about my rats today and this one girl thought I was crazy and ranted about how she didn't like rats. But the thing is, I don't think any of the shirts will fit me... I'm probably too small.  :(

I believe they do the shirts in child sizes, as well as adult, but I could be wrong.  It's been a while since I looked.

YES! They do have kids! Thank you for telling me!

Now I just have to decide how big I should get it...not small! If anyone can help, I'm 4' 7" and around 70 pounds. Suebee, do you have any suggestions?

On the kids' tees, there is a link for a Size chart right next to the size selection... it goes by chest measurement and length.

A "large" kids' tee would ALMOST fit ME, except for the length... it's a 34" chest, and I have a 36" chest (TMI I'm sure ;) ), am 5'7" and about 150, so I'm SURE one of the smaller kids' shirts would fit you just fine!

Small is 27" chest
Medium is 31" chest
Large is 34" chest

    Hope sales picked up.  I'm a weeee bit surprised with the initial sales as I think I ordered 4 right off the bat and 2 more as gifts later.....

    On the note of our dearly departed, Tumnus, passed a couple weeks ago and was less than a year old.  His endearing face in the calendar matched his sweet personality.

I am so excited! I just got my debit card so I can finally enjoy one of these AWESOME calendars! I can also donate money and buy off of amazon to help the site. I am so excited, I can finally indulge in all  the ratty goodness.
