This is a Care Deluxe Multi-Floor ferret home. We got it free (other than $20 in tolls to pick it up) from the hubbie's boss whose kids used to have ferrets. We're only using the top three levels and the bottom is being used for storage. We might change that soon. Litter and poops keep falling into the bottom anyway,  Yellow Cute Laugh Right now it's home to three girls. Two nine month olds and one who is 1 year, 2 months.

Top level you can barely see Suki in the hamster ball that's zip tied to the cage. Behind her is the cut off jean pouch that hangs from the ceiling. They really like that and it's full of holes they chewed into it. I'm always pulling food out of it too. The purple thing in the corner is a litter box. The jumble to the right of the ball is just a cardboard drink carton they've been chewing on. To the right is the High School Musical themed hammock  Yellow Cute Laugh There wasn't much fleece in the store when we went to buy some and my dd likes the movie anyway.

Bedding is cloth. This level is a baby blanket. I stick random pieces of cloth or toilet paper through the bars to let them pull in. That's what the white thing in front is.

Underneath the hammock is Phoenix, chewing the fresh "cat grass" (wheat mostly) I just put in for them. It's in a corelle bowl but 2 minutes after this picture I realized that might not be a good idea so I took the bowl out and it's just in the plastic bowl.

The next level has the igloo. The litter is behind it. Two bowls of food out though you can only see one (one fresh veggies, one dry grains). That ramp on the left leads to no where. It's just for climbing.

The next small level has random toys to carry around or chew. In the box is a brick, an apple chew stick and a yellow plastic die.

The bottom level has the wheel. I've seen Phoenix using it but only her so far. In the right hand corner in the plastic box you can make out Misha grooming herself. The two bricks on the left are under the water bottle. A litter box in the back. And the largely ignored (only slightly chewed) whicker chew toy from the store. The toilet paper roll is filled with food. It's supposed to be a chew toy but they're ignoring that too.

So far their favorite toy has been toilet paper  Hyper

I lost my camera, so this is the most recent picture I have of one of my cages:

It's a petco rat manor. When I purchased it, I thought it was absolutely lovely, but I've come to hate it. The doors are way too small to put up hammocks and such, and if one of my ratties decides to hide up in one of the corners, it takes quite a bit of work to get her out. I keep three little ratlets in it now, and I plan on upgrading when they get bigger, because, even thought it's a decent size, I couldn't see myself keeping three fully grown rats in here.

Since I took that picture, I've removed the ramps, the rats love to climb and jump around, instead.

I have the larger of the Super Pet Exotics, for three other girls, and I absolutely love it. Much better than the rat manor. I plan on either getting another one for the girls in the manor, or completely upgrading and getting a FN or Martin for all of them.

Here is my current setup.  It is a Martin's 695.  I have three rattie girls that live here.  Smiley

Here it is with the doors opened.

The top level.

Bottom level.

I have only had this cage for about a week and have had to totally clean it once.  So far I really like the cage and thought it was fairly easy to clean.  I love how large the doors are making it easy to play with the ratties or change out beds.  The only compalint I have is, I REALLY wish Martin Cages would make the cages with white bars instead of black.

In it is
1 food bowl
1cuddle cup(not shown, was being washed)
1 half of a shoe box
1 corner of a shoe box
1 bird mirror
1 bird ladder
and chewies

I know they don't have much, but I just got them.  As I get money, they'll get PLENTY of stuff.

Wow! there is so many cool cages on this forum! Blue Dumbo Smile

Here's mine..

It is an Avi One 604 converted bird cage with a stand.
The levels are made of old wooden shelves that I painted and put self-adhesive vinyl tiles on.
I change everything around in the cage every 3-4 days when I do a cage clean.

Percy and Trixie think its a mantion! Yellow Cute Laugh

Cage progression:

First came a Martin's PD-695 (similar to R-695) which was a hand-me-down from an old roommate with a prairie dog.
(I thought I had a photo of it somewhere online, but I can't seem to find one.  Oh well.)

Eventually it gained a "penthouse".  Not sure of the add-on cage's brand or name, it came to me with a sweet elderly rat I took in.  She and her sister had spent their whole lives living in it, which makes me so sad.  I have no idea why the pet stores say it's big enough for rats.

Then I got a FN 142 along with three lovely dumbos from someone on Craigslist.

And just last week, I bought a 143 add-on.  It's my first brand-new cage (or cage part).

Nowadays, the old cage with its penthouse sits in the corner of the rat room.  I have the doors all latched open, and the rats play in it during free-range time.

My SP Multi-level Ferret Cage

 It currently has:
*two regular hammocks
*a double decker hammock
*four tubes in assorted shapes and sizes
*two litter boxes
*a hanging tent
*a wheel
* two food bowls, a water bottle and a veggie basket
*And that great big blue thing hanging is a shoe organizer I got years ago at Ikea that they all enjoy sleeping, eating, playing, wrestling and climbing on Smiley

I should be getting a load of rattie stuff for christmas(aside from books, that was the only thing on my list) and then around the new year some lovely hammocks, tubes and cubes from Chelsey's Cozies, so soon it will be even more packed with things for them to play with and destroy Smiley hahahaha I love my little vandals and the fact they have to "emerge" before I can find them Smiley
