So, my husband and I are laying in bed watching Strange Brew (eh  ), and Waffle and Gordy are running around having a good ole time.  After an hour or so, they decide it's time to go lay down in the stuffed fishy.  Gordon goes in and lays down, and Waffle, after his petting of course, follows.  After a few seconds, I see Waffle's head peek out, the fish if right up against me, so the opening is close to my  neck.  He looks out at me, and I see something in his mouth...I lean closer and in a baby voice say "what does the little rattie have for momma?"  He comes out of the fish about halfway and gently drops a rat raisin right in front of my face.     He just went back into the fishy and fell asleep....he gave me a turd.  Should I be grateful?  lol. 

Just thought I'd share that special touching moment of rat love.

ha ha ha...that made me actually laugh out loud. That's so uh...unexpectedly sweet? I'm not sure what to say. Hey now it's a gift from the heart....

I've had raisins THROWN at me but never GIFTED to me.  How, um, sweet!
Oh it's a good thing I was at home to fall of the chair with that one!  They would seriously doubt my sanity if I'd read that at work...

One of our cages has 3 boys in it - everynight when we pick up their food bowl there are always 3 rat raisins in it. Not quite sure if they are giving gifts or paying for their food 
It's endearing either way.
