who needs hair?

We are still in desperate need of loving forever homes here in Oklahoma...or even starting a rat train for some areas!  Some ratties that we adopt have not been hand tamed, but we will always guarantee that we work with each individual girl/boy so that when they are adopted, they enjoy being held by their new mommies/daddies.  Our babes even have become little attention hogs (rogs ha ha).  We will also take back any rat we adopt out for any reason.  What kind of momma wouldn't take back her fuzzy children.  I understand that people move, are missmatched, or develop allergies...etc.
I would really like to hear from some other rat lovers out there!!!!  Unfortunately, there is not much "rat love" out here, and we could use some feedback/support from all of you out there!!!  www.ratfinxratrescueofoklahoma.com  I even brought pictures of my thirteen new babies to work and onegirl was so freaked out that she wouldn't even touch the picture!!! funny, but sad as well.  One pic was of all of them about two days old and they were on my bed, and this girl could not believe that I let these animals on my bed.  I'll bet she'd be horrified that we eat after them too!!!! Roll Eyes  thanx to all that can lend an ear, heart, hand, anything....
and feel free to check out our gallery of our rats other brothers and sisters...2 chinchilas, 2 sugar gliders, 2 cats..1 human 11 yr old brother, and one human 17 year old sister (who also will be free to a good home  hee hee)

I'm confused.  Are you breeding rats also?

Your website gives the impression you intetionally bred two of your rats so you could have some hairless babes.  If you are a rescue, why are you intentionally breeding animals and then trying to adopt them out?

If I misread something on your site, I apologize but this situation seems a little odd.

I'm a tad confused by your site. What rats do you need homes for? And are you a rescue or trying to be a breeder like was asked above?

Actually, I adopted one haired female that was preggers when someone bred her with a hairless male they had, only to "figure out"  a little too late that she sis not have the room,  she was going to sell the babies she did not want as feeders, so I took her.   Even though things are a little stretched here, I figured I could not let these babies come into the world unloved and only to be fed out.  I also just took in four more females recently, which brings our total to 23.  Sorry bout the confusion.  My hairless males have been "fixed".  I wouldn't breed even if I could.
