Can anyone tell me what color Minkin is?
He was solid black as a little one and now that he is 4-5 months old he is black with silver hairs all through out...

He's a silvered black dumbo berkshire, just like my beloved Midnight was!

Yup I'm with Whtnye. He's adorable! How did you come up with the name Minkin? I have a Minkin and have never heard of another before. Oh btw, my Minkin is pink. Wink

There's a Phish song called Minkin, about an artist named Marjorie Minkin. I always got a kick out of the song and thought it would be a great name for a rat. I also like her art a lot. If you PM me your email address, I'll email you the song. It's VERY strange early Phish while they were still in college, but it's funny.

Of course if there ever was another rat named Minkin, they would turn up here! Yellow Cute Laugh

So just to be clear, it's color of fur, ear type and then type of fur? The order has always confused me. Or does it not matter?

It doesn't REALLY matter what order, but that's how I often order it. I've seen others who switch it around though.
