I am redoing the NIRO website and adding more content. One idea that we are trying to put into place are Spotlight Interviews. These interviews will be conducted with people YOU nominate. Pet owners, rescues, volunteers, breeders, product designers, you name it. We will be spotlighting individuals in hopes of educating the public about rats and our community.
So...
- Who is the special person YOU would nominate for such an interview and why?
- What kind of questions would you ask of that person? What do you want to know?
- Would YOU like to be considered for one of our interviews?
FOR example if we were interviewing a rescue I would want to know how they got into rats in the first place, what made them decide on starting a rescue, how many rats they've been able to help through the time they've been active, what the pros and cons are to adopting a rescue rat, what is their most memorable rescue situation to date, etc.
Nominations can be public or anonymous but they must be sent to
nirorat@gmail.com with the subject "Spotlight Interviews". After contacting the nominated individual we will list them on the website, solicit questions from the rat community, conduct the interview and put it up on the website.
