I did the stupid beginner mistake of buying a pair of females from a petstore. Only one was pregnant, and had a healthy litter of 10. I am keeping 2 females, and 2 males have a home, but that leaves 2 males and 4 females. They were born August 15th. The mother is beige with ruby eyes, and rather poor eyesight. The babies available are all either black with a white belly, or a brindled brown with a white belly. The boys are one of each color, and the girls are two of each color (this is the most weirdly mathematical litter I've ever seen). I live in Schaumburg, IL, not far from the Woodfield mall to give an idea of the location.

I need to find homes for these babies, because my bleeding heart talked me into bringing home a momma rat of 7 that I saw give birth in a tank in a petstore (same one I got my other girls at. I work at the fish store attached to it). I'll probably be adopting out all of those babies and their mom once they're old enough.

I would prefer that the rats be taken in pairs at the least, unless you have rats that are close in age. Adoption Fee is negotiable, but $4-5 per rat would be appreciated.
