Hi does anyone know if advantage is good for getting rid of mites?

The active ingredient in Advantage is imidacloprid, which acts on the nervous system of the flea to cause paralysis and subsequent death.
Mites and lice aren't the same system wise as fleas, so it doesn't work as well.

I tried Advantage for some mite-y rats and it was completely ineffective.  I had to get some Revolution to give them relief.
