We recieved our very first adoption application this week.  I have talked with the lady, Valerie, and she will be taking a rat boy this weekend.  We will be delivering Fonzi to her this weekend, quite a drive, 57 miles away.  I have decided to hand deliver any rat that we adopt out 1. so I can give a hassle free experience to the new parents and 2. so I can first hand see the conditions in which my babes will be living in.  I am soooo excited!!!! bdaysmile

Where are you in Oklahoma?  I live in the tulsa area.  I am looking for little boys, and although I am partail to rexes, I go more for personality than breed types.

Wow! I'm almost glad you don't have pics - they are the #1 carrier of GMR dontcha know Grin.  If you don't know what a rex is - it's simply a curly haired (and sometimes curly whiskered) rat.  My sweet angel Toby (RIP last May) was a rex and his fur felt like velour.  My current fellows Sachi and Roo are normal furred.  Sachi is white with a gray mask (looks like a ferret face Smiley and Roo is just a little blonde squishy.  Sachi has a tumor, and while he's in good health now, I am worried about leaving Roo alone.  I'm thinking of getting a pair.  Your website did not mention an adoption fee; what is it?

I too have two human children - no cats or sugar gliders - two dogs and a hubby  Smiley
