RATC Brie, 12/1/02 - 4/28/03 cause of death, broken tooth impailed nasal cavity when in to surgery and didn't make it.

Hudini Lived to be 4.5 years. Furball my daughters rat 5 years both died of cancer tumers. They where brothers both bought from a petstore.

Charlie: 23 months. PTS. Scared lungs, could no longer breathe
Cappuccino: 28 months. PTS. had severe bumblefoot and scared lungs
(these two were brothers who were mistreated by original owner and came to us with scaring on the lungs)

Sebastiana: Unknown date of birth - died about 10 weeks. Was pet shop rat who found ratsack. was with me only 20 mins
Gerbil: 3 Months of age (died of unknown cause)

Myst: Died 12 months of age. PTS. Had massive internal tumour, suspected form of Leukaemia (yet to be confirmed) had already started suffering internal bleeding.

I just talked to the breeder I buy my blues from and she said she has a rat that is 6 years old!!

Ellie: approx. 2 1/2 years old, pituitary gland tumor
Kaela: 11 months, PTS b/e of pneumonia
Piper: 11 months & 5 days, myco and what I think was a broken heart

 

if only they could have lived to be six years old......

Huidini died at 4.5 years old. and My daughters rat Furball died at 5 years old.

Just by the way..  i saw on TV, it also depends of where's the rat from, how long will live.

I forgot about this thread!

Harley-Quinn- Bought at Petsmart.  ~2 years (mayne 2.3)  Already thinnning- went on vacation, didn't eat, came back kinda started eating again, but wasn't the same.

I'd say he died of old age... but I think he missed me too.
