Title: Atlanta, GA - Gorgeous Calico Needs a Home (Lilburn/Lawrenceville/Grayson area)
Post by: GhostMouse on February 12, 2012, 09:47:00 PM
This is not my cat, but one that a friend of mine is trying to rehome. If you're interested, PM me or comment here and I'll get you in touch with the owner. I copied and pasted the information they've given me about her. She sounds like a total sweetheart and I would take her in if I could. I'm hoping someone here could either take in a cat or knows someone who could.

Miso needs a home! She is a beautiful 2-3 year old Calico cat, she has all her shots, & she is friendly with other cats and dogs. She comes with a litter box & cat food. Feel free to share this.

My sister is trying to find a home for this adorable kitty. I wish I could take her. The deal is that her owners decided they only like black male cats (cat racial and gender based profiling!), and the male owner particularly dislikes the cat playing with his toes (so don't be barefoot around that cat, right?)...anyways, they are wanting to find a family soon or they will take it to a shelter (one that kills, unfortunately).

This cat is still available. She is currently being kept in the spare room at a local music school (located in Lilburn).

I got the chance to meet her in person on Saturday and she's an absolute sweetheart. She immediately came to me looking to be patted, and when I sat down on the floor with her she gave me an affectionate kitty head-bump. I really can't emphasize enough how sweet this cat is. The only "problem" is that she gets stressed out by the sound of drums being practiced in the next room, and will hide while that is going on.

The owners of the music school would really like this cat to get a home, and would certainly be happy to let any interested people come by and visit her. The school is closed on Sundays but I could make arrangements to have someone let interested people in to meet her on a Sunday while no lessons are going on. Of course, you're welcome to call or come by during normal business hours as well (2-8 Mon-Thurs, 2-6 Fri, 10-3 Sat).

Here are the school's number and address, and a link to their website:

Another thread I somehow missed.

She IS gorgeous, and glad she found a home.  My poor kitties put up with my industrial metal music like champs, but drums alone are something else!
