This is My Gerbil set up.  Does everyone think it is good enough?  how can I improve it?  That is Jerry in the picture, Georgie and Sandy are hiding in there some place lol. They are all brothers. They have 2 running wheels, a lot of digging space and hiding holes there are some hamster tubes  and other hiding spots buried in the shredded paper.  The size is about the size of 2 ten gallon aquariums, but taller.

I would use aspen, they like to chew it and make little nests. Plus it's more absorbent. For fun you can use paper towels, or the fluff from pet stores. That and maybe some of the kabobs and little chew toys.

I would recommend using aspen as well, but other than that it looks great!
