Plastic (or something) for covering cage?
« on: June 05, 2008, 09:27:12 PM »
Hello!
I was wondering if anyone knows of anything that could be used to cover a cage that would be either not inclined to be chewed or would be non-harmful when chewed? My previous rats left stains on the wall behind the cage because they always peed from the top level of the cage so it would splatter! I wanted to try covering the back of the cage with something to prevent this. I know fleece won't work because they would just chew it up, but what about a solid sheet of plastic? or another material maybe?  ???

You could just hang a plastic shower curtain on the wall behind the cage where they can't reach it. And maybe lay one on the floor under the cage too?

Some people try hanging shower curtains behind their cages, maybe you could do that?
