Is this a good cage?

I found this cage on craigslist for $25 would it be a good cage for ratties?

No. The cage spacing is much too large. If you want to modify the cage with hardwire mesh, then it would be, but otherwise your little friends would be able to escape.

Actually, according the Petsmart's site the dimensions are: 26"L x 17.5"W x 36.5"T; 7/8" wire spacing.
Some females and babies can get out of 1" and 7/8" is just slightly smaller. Adult rats will be fine in that cage.
You could cover it with wire mesh if you needed to make the spacing smaller but that would be a big pain.
The bottom would need to be covered with something, those spaces look way too big for rats to walk on.
