Rabbit litter training.
« on: October 30, 2011, 02:41:31 AM »
So I have two bunnies, one is litter trained and my other one just never seemed to get it (they are about 7-8 years old). I tried all the tricks; poops in box, hay over box, just about everything I have rad to do... I'm confused on why she just won't learn. I would like to make them a big cage (like the ones posted here) because right now they are in living in a ferret cage with a base; because she has stained floor, rugs, and stinks up my room.

I figured I should ask rabbit people if thy have any techniques to try; because I'm at a lost.
Thanks guys. :)

I could train rats to use a box, but not a rabbit... oh boy... Haha.

Is she spayed? Because sometimes it's hard for unspayed rabbits to be litter trained.
