Male Cat for Adoption- Central Texas (Transportation possible)
« on: February 13, 2013, 04:34:29 PM »
Hi there! I'm here to introduce you to "The Creature Mogget". I found him in a shopping center by my home a few days before Halloween. He had an open gash on his tummy, his foot was scabbed over and he was skinny. :( I took him home, got him some vet care. He's now 100 % healed and is doing fabulously. However, he is very aggressive with one of our cats. For whatever reason, he picks fights with her, and will try to claw, scratch and bite her. It's causing me a lot of stress between the room mate and I, and since the victim cat was here first, I am actively searching for a home.

I've been trying to correct this behavior but I haven't had any results. He's in no danger of losing his home, he's safe with me until I can find the appropriate home. He is reactionary. If an animal doesn't react to him (dog or cat, by hissing, growling, scratching, barking, etc) he DOES NOT REACT! Him and my cat get along perfectly and he tolerates all her crazy kitten antics. I've pulled on his tails and ears and poked and prodded him, and he doesn't bite or scratch, so the possibility of him being tolerant of kids is high. He is a HUGE SNUGGLER. LOVES TO SLEEP IN BED. It drives me nuts because he always wants to be in my butt crack! He's not talkative unless you have food in hand.

He is currently on Blue Buffalo, I can get the records of his shots, and an adoption fee may be waived. Right now he is indoor/outdoor, but likes to be indoors. I would like for him to find a home as soon as possible. He is a stress on my room mate's and I relationship, and he needs a home where he's not confined to mostly one bedroom, because it's also not fair to the resident cats that I have to confine them so that he can get stimulation.

He will come with optional items: A small bag of food to start you out, litterbox, some toys, a bed, brushes, collar and tag, nail clippers. You can have all or none of it, just please let me know.

Just a cool note, his fur has grown in white where he had some of his cuts. :)

Him, in a cuddle puddle with the dog and my cat.. :)
