**URGENT** (Deer Park, Texas) Update: Homes Found.
« on: May 15, 2002, 10:35:11 AM »
Homes needed for 7 very sweet rats by this Saturday or they're destined to be feeders.  4 males, two born on Jan. 2nd 2002, one which is black mismarked hooded and one which is beige mismarked hooded. Two adults, age unknown, one black hooded, one beige berkshire. 3 females, one born on jan 2nd 2002, beige mismarked hooded and 2 adults, age unknown, one is PEW and one is Black mismarked hooded.

I am in Deer Park, TX (just outside of Houston) and am willing to drive any reasonable distance.  These rats are very sweet and I hate to see them go, but I have no choice, my husband has put his foot down. Help please! I don't want to see my babies become feeders!! Even just someone to foster them until homes can be found!

Thank you

Why are they destined to be feeders? At least take them to the local humane society if you can't find homes for them.

I'm going to try if I can't find homes for them, but I don't know if my husband will let me spend the money. What I would like to do is get them to the RAT rescue in DFW, if my mom will help me (she lives there). Speaking of, if there is anyone in that area who would like to adopt, I may be able to get them there in a couple weeks if you let me know now.
