Great news!
« on: December 07, 2004, 05:58:56 PM »
My new kitty, Bismo or Tom (haven't totally decided on a name yet), went to the vet today for his first set of shots, tests and all that.  His FelV and FIV both were negative!! What a huge relief since I didn't even THINK about it and just brought him into my home on Sunday!  We've got him set up for his next set of shots and neuter in three weeks from tomorrow.  He was so perfect in the car ... he didn't meow or howl once!

That's great news!!!

You are soo lucky that he was quiet in the car.  I brought 2 of my cats in today and what a nightmare it was.  They were both crying then one got car sick.  Oh what a fun day.

Yay, I'm glad everything is working out so well!  I'm with sunshine9--you're lucky he is quiet in the car, lol!  My cats will yell until they're hoarse!  ;)

Hahaha...

So that's what that cryptic email was about.

Where'd he come from?

Its suck a relief to find that out! I was happy when Anvil and her kittens bloodwork came back negative too!

I like the name Bismo, its unique!!

Also, two out of three of our cats are quiet in the car. Donut, our deaf girl loves riding in the car!!

Bismo IS a unique name, but since he looks identical to our old cat, Tom, that's all I can call him!  So he's 'registered' as Tom with the vet.

Funny story.  I took him in for his first set of shots and the tests.  The vet called about 3 days later, "So how is Tom?"  My first thought was, "Oh he died back in May!"  How awful was that?  In the pic in the other thread, Tom/Bismo is the orange tabby, Richie is the gray.
