So, I'm trying to find a place to take this cat that I found huddled on my door step.
He's obviously sick since he sneezes and he's got cat snot. Ewwwww.

Anyway, one thing he as taught me is that I don't know nearly enough about Cat Health.

I know to feed them, get them shots, neutered, and if they're strays tested for feline luekemia, worms and ear mites.

That's it. That's all I know.
I just got told that they can get pink eye which infects humans too.
I'm like WHAT!?

So I need some links, reliable sources on cat care similar to the sort of info we can get in the Reference Desk in RR. I just want to be sure that what I am reading is correct, ya know?

I tried asking on another forum, but they didn't seem to understand what I was asking for. . .

there's always cat health books and those for dummies books.. although they don't cover much.

I always get my cats tested for FIV as well as FelV, but the main reason I do that is because I was so into the Teen AIDS Task Force back in high school, heh
