Animal Communicators? Lost Cat - is back! *UPDATE*
« on: January 15, 2005, 03:49:05 PM »
Hi, I read on one of the rat forums that there are a couple of animal communicators here on the forums. I'm hoping one of you will see this thread and can help me. My kitty, Sam, got out yesterday and we can't find him anywhere. He is strictly an indoor cat and when he manages to get out, he usually climbs the fence into the neighbors yard and cowers and cries until I come find him (too scared to even come to me, I have to go to him). But I have checked the neighbors' yards and there is no sign of him. His sister, Tabby, is going absolutely CRAZY searching for him. We are all soo upset. He is such a big mush pot and he is my baby. To make matters worse, he just chewed off his collar (I found it in his usual sleeping spot in my closet) so he is out there without any ID.

If you can help, his name is Sam and here is a picture of him. If you need more specific info, please contact me. Thank you!

You might be better off sending a PM to Arlene or menagerie.  I think they both do animal communication, but don't know how often they come to the cat board.

Thanks Marybelle. I've sent a PM to Arlene, but I can't turn "menagerie" up in a search  ???

When you do find him ( Which I hope hope hope you do) I suggest buying him a small leather dog collar so he can't chew it off.

Thanks for the suggestion CB. This is one of those nylon collars with the elastic loop, designed to come off rather than strangle if he were to get caught on something. My girl kitty manages to get hers off every now and again, but this is a first for Sam. He somehow clawed (?) the elastic band. *sigh*

He is micro-chipped, but without a collar, I'm not sure whether someone would think to take him in to have him scanned.

To anyone that was following this thread... I just wanted to let you know that Sam has turned up safe and sound! *big sigh of relief*.

I was standing at the front door "meowing" for him when dh called out "here he is!". He turned up at the back door. He was cold and hungry. Once he came in he made straight for his food dish. Oh gosh, what a relief!!

Thanks to everyone that was thinking good thoughts for us... they worked!

Hooray!  Glad he's home, and hopefully that'll teach him not to wander!
