Help me out here!

My cat is acting really strange ....we think it's because he's bored or depressed does anyone have any ideas on cat toys I could make to keep my kitty entertained? ::)
Scarlett Angel:
Ok here's a couple of cheap boredom busters I use on my cat--
First there's the good 'ol ball in the bathtub to bat around. That keeps my kitty busy for hours!
Then, sometimes I will take a paper dixie cup and put 2 or 3 crunchy treats in it(Aquari-Yums work well), and then I fold the top of the cup down so the treats won't fall out. Its a piece of garbage, a rattle, something to bat around and hidden treats all in one!
I've also heard other people suggest hiding treats around the house for your kitty to "hunt". Just remember to check your hiding spots and make sure kitty didn't miss any by the end of the day!
And finally, I haven't yet tried this product, but i've seen rave reviews about it on other cat boards.
http://www.purr4cats.com/ check it out!
Good luck!
Nelly:
Oh, no! Scarlett! I'm going to have to buy some of that now.

Put rocks, or something to rattle, in an old water bottle. Padfoot will chase one around for days and the rocks keep it weighed down enough so there is a bit of restance.
Pet stores sell toys that have suction cups on the end so you can stick them to a sliding glass door, window, fridge, whatever, stick it and the feather end hangs down and drives cats mad because it keeps comming back at them. Good times!
