Can't get cat to eat wet food.

One of my kittens refuses to eat wet food. She will lick the juices and that's it. I've even tried giving her tuna or salmon and its the same deal. She eats her dry food just fine. I know that her mom died early on and she was bottle fed, could this be part of it?

That's very odd.  I've heard of other cats that have done this, but I don't remember why.  It could be that she was bottle fed...  Have you tried different sorts of canned food?  One of my cats refuses to eat the food if it's in little cubes, will only eat the loaf kind....

I tried the cubes,patte, canned tuna and canned salmon. She just licks it a lot but only eats a few pieces. Then she runs off at eats her dry :| At least the dry that she eats has chicken as the first ingredient. I'm giving her Authority right now from petsmart. Is that a decent brand?

It's what I use.  :)  Maybe try mixing teh canned in with the dry?  Some cats like it better that way, and you might be able to slowly switch her over.

Our cat Donut is exactly like that. For some unknown reason she barely eats the canned food I feed them all.
