Box Of Tissues??
« on: September 10, 2005, 02:13:48 AM »
Curious about fun shreddy times.

A full box of tissues, ( first one started, all plastic pulled off the hole, and the PLAIN kind, not the lotion kind )

Do you think this would be at least 30 min of rattie entertainment? XD I can just picture them running around with a heap in thier mouths, then skeetering back to pull out more. Only thing I'm worried about is dust. Some of the cheaper tissues realease what seems like a lot of fiber particles when you pull it. What do the forum experts say?  ;)

Only thing I would say is to make sure you get tissues without the extra lotion in (the kind for sore noses) because I don't know if that would be good for rats.

My girls love their tissue boxes!

I once left a full box right next to Teddy's cage; the next morning all 300 of the tissues were in his cage!  That must have been fun!
Sure; a box of tissues makes a great holiday gift also.  Heaps of clean fun!
I miss you and love you Teddy Ratsevelt and Benny.  Thank you for being my heart rats.

We hang a roll of cheap toilet paper at the top of their cage .....  it gets entertaining.  Hercules nests in the igloo, so he pulls the paper into that, usually doesn't tear it, then hudini usually nests in the hammock, so he steals it from Hercules and brings it up to the hammock, so by the end of the first night we have a cage that looks like a bunch of teenagers has TP'd, but very happy, busy rats.

I use and change tissues daily in my girls cage and have discovered that Scotties tissues are wonderful for having little to no lint in them.   I love em!
