3 budgies in London, ON
« on: December 21, 2005, 12:35:57 AM »
I'm part of the local freecycle, and a poster has put up THREE budgies, MUST go together, NO CAGE.

I'd be willing to go pick them up, as I have a few small cages here (mostly hammie cages).. but I can't keep them.

Want to know why they're being given up? "No health problems, just didn't realize they lived as long as they do."

GAWD.

Yikes! That's stupid. But budgies do live a langthy amount of time. I had pairs throughout my life. Some died from my cat, sadly. But the longest one I had live was up to Seven years, He died in my hands when I was... well, last year. =\
I would be able to take them in at the last posible chance. I live two hours away from London though, in a small village around windsor. I have a cage, but it only fits two. And even then they'll be crowded.
Poor Birds.

Thanks for the offer, but the person said they had found someone who would take them "without their cage".  :(
