Hi All Recently My Netherland Dwarf Wabbit had 3 little babies, so I thought I'd share 

 The first pic is of the mummy 'Jasmine'



 next is me holding one of the littles like a real baby 



Next is the babies sitting together outside



 Finally the babies enjoying the sun



 I can't stop looking at them I just want to sit all day cuddling the cuties

I love baby buns.  A friend of mine breeds Jersey woolies, Holland Lops and Netherland dwarves.  Watching them grow up is so much fun.

They're positively adorable, but why on Earth did you breed them?  There are so many rabbits being euthanized daily in shelters or being killed for the meat market.  Honestly, I'd dare to say the rabbit rescue scene might be worse than dog rescue in some cases.

I agree with Amanda, and will simply quote one of my favorite sayings, "Don't breed or buy while shelter animals die." 

The amount of healthy rabbits, even babies, put to sleep everyday in shelters, simply because no one's adopting them, is overwhelming.  Plus, female rabbits live MUCH shorter lives when they're left intact because of pyometra and uterine cancer.  Most does don't even reach it to 5-6 years, where as a spayed girl can live well into her teens.

Ive had unspayed does live into their teens. Ive never had a doe die as young as 5-6 unless from unnatural causes.

But I agree, with the doe shouldnt have been bred unless you are an accomplished breeding breeding for a purpose and all that. But we are all jumping to conclusions, she never said she bred the doe herself. What if this was an accidental litter?

 Before you all attack me  & jump to conclusions maybe you should find out the facts first?? I am a registered breeder, I don't even live in the US & my friend owns the buck & she will most likley be taking all the babies. She has been breeding & showing rabbits for 20 + years...

I was just sharing something that I thought you'd all appreciate as they're very beautiful & I know seeing baby animals makes people happy...

I agree, the babies are precious!  I love baby buns.


And yes, people, it's a good idea to get the fact PRIOR to jumping down someone's throat.  It tends to make people angry...

I am kinda new to rabbit breds but their ears look kinda small for their head.  Is it because it is their age? or is it their bred?  I am use to seeing wild Jack rabbits, and they have HUGE ears!!!

^^ Its the breed. Netherland Dwarfs have itty bitty ears.
