What type of bunny do I have?
« on: May 16, 2007, 11:30:27 PM »
Mine has shirt tiny ears, and is small so I'll assume he's a dwarf, but his fur is between long and short and is flufy, though the fur on his head is short. His eyes are brown and he is white with brown ears, a brown stripe down his back and brown spots on his sides, but NOT his tumy or chest
Is he just a mutt? Or is there something he can actallu be declared as (other than adorable of course)

I'm having difficulty getting the picts to up load.  Each individial picture file is too big and I'm not able to open the picts with my normal software.  I'm going to see if my computer geeky hubbie can get it to work.   ;D

I can try to load the pic for you if you like -- just send it to bungirl@gmail.com

From the description, I would guess you have a cross between a Netherland Dwarf and an English Spot, but it would be easier to tell with a photo.

English Spot:

Yeah, that's nearly perfect! Salvador is small and kinda fluffy like that dwarf, but his face is shaped a BIT more like the English spot and he has that pattern, though his back stripe and spots are a bit bigger and his spots/stripe aren't black, they're a mix between this gray/brown...I'd call it taupe.

Well, the english spots come in all kinds of colors, (I have a grey one) and the one in the picture is a show rabbit -- most of them aren't nearly so perfectly marked.  Of course, it's almost impossible to be certain -- he could have all kinds of breeds mixed in, but I'm betting these two are the dominant ones.
