I am looking for a new cage.  I have 3 rats so I need a pretty big one.  What do you all have?

I don't know what kind of cage I have, because our rats came with it,(it was already un-packaged when I saw it)
but it's a good sturdy cage, and we once had 3 rats in it.
Here, why don't you try this out, maybe you can order one. http://ferretstore.com/
Good luck for now,though.

Have you checked out the Cage Decorating thread and the Which Martin's To Get thread, both stickied at the top of this section? You'll see lots of different cages in there! If you have questions about how many rats a cage can hold, input the dimensions into a cage calculator.

For three rats there are a lot of options.  Do you have any ideas of what you'd like?  Are they babies or adults?  Males, females?  :)  A Martin's R-695 would offer them some extra space each; Super Pet just began selling a nice cage for exotics with 1/2" bar spacing that would fit three nicely.
Mama to:
The Rats: MacKenzie & Konstantin.
The Gerbs: Jack Karnak O'Neill & Daniel Cairo Jackson.
The Cavies: Brownie & Pig (aka Nelson).
Sister to Blouney Cat & Seven.

Rest well, Goofy, and give Crazy a love-slap from me.
I love you, Swirley. I love you, Gaia, Guinevere.

I would like to get a cage that holds in the bedding.  The one we have the bedding falls out as soon as you put it in.  They are adult female rats.

I also would like to get them off the wires at least for the main floor.

Ferret Nation? Though I think they can be expensive, they're s'pposed to be good.
Whereabouts are you? ((America, England, etc.)
Good luck finding your cage!

I am in America.  Yes the Ferret Nation cages are nice.  My sister has her rats in one and loves it.  I have checked on prices for these cages but they might be a little too expensive for me right now.
