"fighting like cats and dogs"
« on: February 13, 2008, 11:10:17 AM »
Me again, with the foundling chihuahua.  He's very sweet and eating like a champ.  Vet says he's a healthy boy!   I really love him, and have all but given up the idea of re-homing him.  The only issue is that he REALLY wants to play with my cats, and they REALLY don't want anything to do with him. My one big girl has let him know who's boss, but we have a timid little thing who won't even come out from under my bed most days. I feel really guilty because she's so sweet and social with us most of the time, and now I've gone and messed that up.  Anyone have any luck with intros/teaching the dog to leave the cats alone?  He's a little...um...headstrong, so I haven't had a lot of success so far.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!
