Is it just me, or does Badger have a half-black half-brown face? Maybe it's just the flash, but he looks like he's got some brown in there! He's so friggin' cute. Not to mention ADORABLE Margot on that wheel!

Oh, and the way that hanging feeder is hanging, it looks like the little birdie from the tent is perched on it.

Some fun seeds in addition to their HT. =) They tend to get really thin if I only give them HT. The mixed seeds/etc help them get their treaties every now and then and keep some chub on their bones.

Badger is actually a girl. =) All the rats in that cage are girlies. She's all black, but rusting here and there. =)

You could always feed Suebee's Mix. I feed a highly tweaked version with tons of different things

Great cages! I love all the bright colors but now, with the young girls who love to shred fleece isn't the time to make new liners, sadly. Haven't posted lately so here's my cage tonight:

well i have had my double CN for two days now...i'm loving it...its much bigger than i pictured...lol...almost didn't have the room for it!!....oh well...the babies love it and that's what matters. since i am just starting out my cage isn't as full as most posted...but as my husband says...if i have too much in there i won't be able to find my rattties...lol...and there are thirteen in there....they are hiding in these pictures....but they're there. camille and her 12 4 1/2 week old little ones

Congrats on your new cage! I find it funny that I can't find a single rat in there but you said there's 13 xD
I just sold my iPod (I hardly ever use it) and it has brought me $40 closer to getting my CN...

yeah they are all in the two igloos in the bottom half....one small one and a really big one...you just can't see them in the picture..lol

...they go under the fleece liners!! no wonder i never see any poop on top of the liners...its all underneath!!...lol...oh well i clean the cage everyday anyway...

IM PROBABLY GOING TO BE GETTING THE DOUBLE FOR MY BIRTHDAY IN LIKE TWO WEEKS! IM EXCITED!

haha Call me crazy, but right now I only have one rat because her sister died =( RIP PEARL, but Im going to be getting two more babies.

I like buying the big cages so my ratties have all the space in the world!

Do you think the double is too big for three rats?

Note: I may be adding onto my rattie family, thats why I want to get the big cage in case I adopt more over time.

There's no such thing as a cage "too big," essentially. Though, if given a ton of space, sometimes rats will only use parts of a cage (especially if there are different levels). But, you could always get the double CN, and if they don't use all of it, use the bottom part for storage. Plus, oftentimes people suffer from GGMR (gotta get more rats), so that extra room might be helpful to have in the future

Also, remember to look into adopting from a shelter/rescue, not purchasing animals from a pet store!

I doubt you can go too big, unless you have shy little fear-poop-in-big-spaces rats. Even then it should be fine. And I second the extra room... you never know...

lol, yeah I would NEVER purchase pets from a pet store! I think Im getting two baby girls from wee companions. I've been in contact with them. eep! I hope I can get the CN. I currently call Anastasia's cage the Mansion cuhz its so big. I dont know what I would call the CN, it even bigger than the one I have!! LOL
