« Reply #1 on: February 20, 2009, 01:06:43 PM »
Times are getting tough, so I'm trying every resource ;) I still have two cube hammocks available.  8"x8"x8". Hammocks hang with large safety pins & colored shower curtain rings, as persistent chewers always seem to eat through the straps. ;)
Available:
-Blue insect hammock with lime green bottom & back, lined with orange. (Fleece inside & out) SOLD
-Patchwork dragonfly/flower hammock, lined with peach. (Fleece inside and out) SOLD
(JUST ADDED) - Patchwork colorful insects/cats play print, lined with orange fleece. (Cotton outside/Fleece inside) SOLD
(JUST ADDED) - Christmas Penguins lined with candy cane fleece. (Cotton outside/Fleece inside) SOLD
(Please note the patchwork owl/frog hammock & flat hammock pictured are taken - Jasper and Tajo claimed one)

SOLD

JUST ADDED: SOLD

JUST ADDED:SOLD

& just for cuteness sake...Jasper & Tajo, showing off their hammock.

Malexis:  I choose to hang mine with large safety pins & then colored shower curtain rings (I have a ferret nation & like them to hang lower), as all the rats I've had have been very bad at chewing the straps.

Libitnia: I checked with the post office today. Parcel post to your zip code would be $4.55, however, first class will cost $2.53. I also wanted to show you the bottom/back of the hammock to show you the lime green (It is a very bright, boy themed hammock, kind of makes me think of a comic book type theme) I also just added photos above of a patchwork insects/cats play hammock & a Christmas Penguin hammock I just finished. If you would like a different one instead, just let me know which one.  :) I typically arrange payments through paypal, so if you would like one the total would be $12.53. Let me know, and thanks again for your interest.

OoooooOOOoooo.....  I really like the patchwork insect/cats one you just added!  So if i wanted that one with priority mail the total would be $12.53 still, right?

Libitnia: I have received your payment and will have your colorful insect/playful cats hammock out tomorrow. Thanks again & I hope your rats enjoy it!

Mischief Mistress: I actually just bought some new fabric and was planning on making new hammocks. If you would like to see the fabric available and design your own, I would be happy to PM you the link to the fabric photos. Otherwise I can pick something out myself and surprise you (Let me know if for boys/girls)  :) Also, when I checked on shipping, parcel post for Libitnia was actually $4.55 while priority was $2.53, but i will check on your zip code tomorrow when I mail Libitnias out. Let me know if you would like to pick your own fabric and what you would like, if I know today, I can get it in the mail saturday. Thanks again.

Dearpie:  Thanks. Yes, first class is $2.53, parcel was quoted $4.55, and flat rat priority was of course $4.95. I'm still getting this whole shipping class thing down (i keep thinking of first class as priority non flat rate) ;) Thanks for catching that though.

Malexis:  No problem, that is a common question & I guess I haven't been able to address it clearly. All hammocks can be purchased with either your choice of the traditional sewn in loops or large safety pins/colored rings. People who own rats that are persistent chewers are advised to choose the safety pin/colored ring method of hanging as they can't chew through. I put the safety pin through the corner & then attach a coordinated colored ring (usually blue, pink or green). I will post some with loops shortly.

Every hammock comes delivered with the purchasers chosen option.
Hope that helps! If you have further questions, just let me know!  :)

I love the one with all the eyes. Is there a way you can modify the one you have already made and turn it into a rat bungelow for me?

majikbabygirl I can certainly modify it for you! Did you want the same fabric eyes for the bungalow bottom, or did you want something else? I currently have a purple fabric with haunted castles & ghosts, a brown fabric with owls, a colorful trick or treat fabric with black cats, ghosts, candy corn etc, a beige fabric with dragons, & a black fabric with scary pumpkins. I think all could match the scary eyes theme. i can send you a photo of any fabric if they sound like something you might want as the bottom. Also let me know if you want the loops for hanging or the safety pin/colored ring method (for bad chewers). Once I know what you want I can modify it in few hours and send it out once payment is received!

AnimalHobby Thanks for the compliment. Your products & ideas are wonderful as well, I've been eyeing your threads with awe. I have a few more tricks up my sleeve, but I want to release all the new ideas at once, so I'm waiting til i have a surplus built up. My heart goes out to you again for all the wonderful care you've been providing to Yuki. We are all waiting anxiously to see how her recovery goes. (I'm assuming there's an eye removal surgery in her near future, if I read correctly). Please let me know when that is scheduled, as I would really like to help out for that as well.

I will definitely let you know when we schedule that. I haven't even got an estimate from the vet yet. I'm almost scared to hear how much it will cost.  :-\ I am hoping the meds will do the trick quickly. :)

Thanks again!
