Socializing Baby Rats *Update!*
« on: January 11, 2009, 01:28:37 AM »
Well, even though I couldn't get her to come out on her own, once I had Lily out, she was very content to sit on my shoulder bruxing at me and grooming herself. I'm glad to see she's finally getting comfortable with me. Although the babies still don't take food from me, I'm glad That I'm getting somewhere. I was worried about Lily because earlier when I had her out she nearly got trough a crack and I had to grab her by her tail. I felt so bad! When I picked her up (by her body of course) She squeaked, my heart nearly broke. I put her back in the cage, and a couple hours later took her out. She is now sitting on my shoulder quite contentedly as I write this. I'm so happy that I'm getting through to these girls.

What a cute face! She'll be excited to see you and begging to come out soon. Congrats on the step forward in socializing her.
