Making your own travel cage

Just curious if any one has ever made there own "travel" cage? If so with what and how?

Really cheap and simple travel and hospital cage... take an appropriate sized plastic organizer tote, cut out a large square in the top (as much as you can without compromising the sturdy-ness, zip tie wire mesh to the top, and voila!

That's what I did too, except I also cut out one of the sides for extra ventilation. It was a pain in the butt though because that plastic is so much harder. If you have the tools to do it I'm sure it would be easier, I used a box cutter...or a kitchen knife, something ridiculous like that :doh:

I did the same thing for my travel cage!!





It was a pain for me, I drove to my boyfriends parents to get it cut out for me!!  It makes me happy though!!  I added holes to the side to hang hammocks and cubes without tying them to the top..it was bad when you wanted to open the top and they were in the hammock being lazy.
