Permanent Home needed (Davis, CA) (updated 8/15)
« on: August 10, 2009, 02:01:28 AM »
Purrsy has been taken in by a no-kill rescue in Sacramento. While he is still looking for his permanent home, he is no longer facing imminent euthanasia.

This is a courtesy posting for my roommate's classmate, with her permission. Please consider giving this cat a home if you live in the Sacramento or San Francisco Bay Area.

Purrsy is a sweet 3-year-old neutered male cat who needs a temporary foster or new forever home. The family is willing to pay for you to foster him as well as pay for his food / litter, medical expenses, and pet insurance as long as you help them find him a permanent home for Purrsy (or, obviously, you could choose to adopt him as well). You would need to be able to keep him as an indoor cat since he is declawed, as well as have older or no children. The situation is pretty dire, as the family will need to euthanize Purrsy if they don't find a home very soon. Please see Purrsy's Petfinder ad ( for more information and pictures of Purrsy. Please e-mail Taemi (, the student helping the family find Purrsy a home, or the family's contact information listed on Petfinder if you're interested in providing a temporary or permanent home.

Thank you for reading this, and feel free to pass it on to anyone else who may be interested!

Q: What do you get when you cross a postmodernist with a mafia boss?
A: An offer you can't understand.
