Baby dumbo rats in Akron, OH
« on: September 03, 2011, 01:44:34 PM »
Hey everyone, I have a litter of rats pups that are 4.5 weeks old and are ready to go on to their news homes. For clarification, I did not breed any rats, I simply helped out a friend who had to close her rattery down and took on her only pregnant female.

Babies were born on 8/3, momma rat (Cricket) is a blaze silver black variegated rex dumbo. All babies are dumbos.

Males:
silver black variegated

black variegated rex

Females:
silver black blaze variegated

silver black bareback with head spot

dove rex

black bareback

black mismarked bareback

I can't really drive far (half hour max) due to my insane work and class schedule. And I would like to find them homes within the next week preferably because I have a tiny bit more free time to do so. Asking for a small $5 rehoming fee. Thanks

Sure, let me know! Where do you live because we're heading down to Carrolton next Saturday for the Warrior Dash and if you happen to be anywhere near there then I could meet you.

oh my goodness.

that dove rex...

If she's still available, I'd like her.

Any trains going south? I'll drive up to 3 hours north to meet the train.

**Edit**

She would be for me, not put into my rescue program. I don't want it to seem like I was just gonna adopt her out or something. ><

Also, I'll drive up to 4 hours, so that would put me in Louisville Kentucky.

She is still available as are the rest of the girls. If we can get a train to you, I'm sure we can make something work!

I would absolutely LOVE that. Louisville Kentucky is about half way between me and Akron. Maybe someone in north Kentucky would be willing to drive a bit?

-waits patiently for northern Kentucky GM members to volunteer- :P

I want to apologize Rattitude_Rescue, but if I end up finding another home for the dove, I will have to let her go to it. I can't hold on to everyone for an extended period of time because I don't have the cage space or time to play with them all. I am overrun with rats and I am not home enough to keep everyone socialized and clean. Sorry

Anyone in the Akron / Ohio area ever come to IN? I would be willing to adopt a couple/few girlies. Akron is about 4hrs one way from me, so if someone could meet halfway..

Just thought I would inquire.

I'm located in Fort Wayne, IN

Thank You!
Companion To:
5 ratties (3 males and 2 females)

Thanks!-hilly

The blaze variegated and the dove have gone on to their new homes today to a very happy 11 year old girl who is celebrating her birthday today

That leaves the three barebacks still needing homes. I can drive, at most, an hour one way, so if you could find someone to drive that other hour to meet you at the midway point, that would be awesome!

I still do feel really bad, I just also need them out of here asap. I am also putting up the two girls I planned on keeping but 1. my cage will be overcrowded if I keep them and 2. life is going to be getting even more hectic and out of control here soon.

Pictures will be posted this weekend when I have time. But I still have the 3 bareback females and also a self black female and a dove blaze female up for adoption.

really it's ok! Four of my rescues are showing signs of pregnancy (as of the 19th), so it turns out that I wouldn't have been a good home for her if I DID get her :P

Here are the photos as promised. The cage is all empty at the moment because all toys and hammocks are being washed.

Blazed dove female

Self black female (in the middle, mommy on the right)

Silver-black mismarked bareback female

Twin black mismarked bareback females

Please, please, please, let me know if you are interested. At this point I will wave the adoption fee because I need to find them homes asap. I am incredibly overwhelmed with work, and classes, and just about everything. Thanks everyone!

The mother is from R and J Sweet Ratties. I still have the mother, Cricket, and will be keeping her. I just took on the pregnant rat to help my friend who needed to rehome everyone asap.

I have two WONDERFUL females from that breeder; do you still have any available?  I know of a couple of people who really want rats after meeting my two, and I'm contacting them to see if they are interested.
Would you be willing to drive a little?
