New pictures of my girly meecers!
« on: February 25, 2012, 11:29:00 PM »
It's been a while since I've shared pictures of my girls and their cage, so here you go!

The girls lined up perfectly for me, much to my amazement, and stayed still long enough for me to snap a picture  :)  From L to R: Kauai, Binx, and Molly

Binx, peeking out of the carrier before I put them back in their clean cage

Om nom nom...

How they all fit comfortably in that little car, I don't know  :P

And some cage pictures!

In the next couple weeks, I'm hoping to order an R680 for my girls (inspired by Lauren_22!).  They're all so active, I feel like they should have more space to run around, and more room for hammocks/toys/enrichment stuff.  :)  Even so, I don't think they're suffering too much currently  :yelcutelaugh:

That's absolutely adorable. Looks like a carnival in there. Heck, I wanna live in there... LOL

I enjoy the pictures of your mice, and their setup so much.

A few more pictures from tonight, and also Sunday  :)

Kauai, snacking on some frozen berries, fresh carrot, and a bit of almond milk

I was grommeting hammocks tonight, and I turned to glance at the mice, only to see all three girls looking utterly adorable in their cube!  I hurried up and finished grommeting, grabbed my camera, and thankfully Molly and Kauai stayed put and were awesome little models  :)  Binx is insane and the second she hears me move, breathe, or blink, she's at the top of the cage wanting out.  I've seriously never met such a friendly mouse  :P

Kauai says... :P

You clearly have some happy little mice there!

Don't know if I've asked this before, but do they chew on their hammocks? They look very happy. :)

Aw, thanks!  I seriously dote on them like there's no tomorrow.  :yelcutelaugh:

My first mice never did!  The hammocks and beds I made/bought them stayed perfectly intact for the whole length of time they were alive.  But man, these girls.  The worst is Binx (naturally, since she's such a weirdo) and she kind of taught the other two her awesome habit  :P  I can't be too upset about it though - they have a million hammocks and I make them anywhere from 2-10 every week from order scraps.  So really, I'm just happy to have a reason to make more!  ;D

So cute!  I love to look at mice, but they're probably not a pet I'll get again, unless a rescue situation plops them into my lap.  ;)

Okay, good to know! Thanks. If I ever get mice again, I'll make them little mousy hammocks. :)

Really?  I love mine (and the previous group, of course).  True, a lot of times friendly mice are hard to come by, but at least they're still fun to watch!

This picture is amazing! I used to have mice and would try and take pictures of them, so I know how hard it is to get a decent picture of ONE mouse, let alone getting 3 to pose all pretty for you! So I really like this one, what cuties

How adorable! And I agree with CarrieD.... can we come live in that cage?!
Owned by two kittehs (Adrian and Audrina), one pup (Sunny), and five ratties (Lily, Roxie, Misty, Sherman and Wesley)

Aww they are so adorable!! In my last adoptable group, I got my first door greeter  ;D and she has helped the others gain confidence that Im not out to hurt them and now when I go to feed, I have a bunch of heads poke out at me and a few run down to explore my hands. I think you will LOVE the 680 for them! I love watching my girls climb up and down the sides and it is very fun to decorate  ;)

Binx has definitely helped Kauai, the PEW girl I adopted before Molly and her sister.  Before, even at the smell of my hand, she'd recoil and run off.  I don't think she'll ever be happy to see me (lol), but she's at least less frightened  :)

My R680 is arriving tomorrow!  Depending on whether the rats I adopt in the near future are full grown or not, they'll either get the cage now, or after the ratties are big enough to be moved to the FN (or until I get crazy and buy a F475 with the smaller wire, since I totally need another cage...)  :D

They are so cute! I'm very fond of mice, and I'd love to foster some, but I wouldn't get any for myself.
